It has been 34 years since the first issue of the Journal of the H. P. Lovecraft Society was published; and I believe it has fallen into the public domain category that will allow me to release it here; and I will remove it if a current copyright holder contacts me with a request to do so.
I am providing these scans freely from my collection as a tribute to Fritz Leiber.
As with other hard-to-find documents in my collection, I am providing a PDF file copy of this booklet here, and much higher resolution JPG individual images in the Fritz Leiber CthulhuWho1 Flickr Collection (along with 212 more Fritz Leiber related images) at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cthulhuwho1/sets/72157625066410282/,
Journal of the H. P. Lovecraft Society No.1 1976 (The Fritz Leiber Issue)
This first issue, No.1 1976, was The Fritz Leiber Issue; and is a nice little tribute issue now that Fritz Leiber is no longer with us.
Please let me know in feedback if you would like to see more documents like this in the future.
Wow… What a wealth of Fritz Leiber stuff you’ve given us there! Thank you so much. I love Leiber’s horror & fantasy, but have always found getting info on him a bit difficult (compared to Lovecraft & co), so this is really valuable stuff. I only wish I could have been there to see him in person, but this is definitely the next best thing. Thanks again!
Murray,
You are very welcome!

I’ve added you to my group email list so you’ll
get an early notice as soon as I add more stuff
here or on Flickr.
Marvelous! All of it. Thank you so much for sharing.
Dear Madame Vauquer / Dagny,
As always, you are very welcome!

Most people I know, who’ve collected all their lives,
will die before they ever share any of what they have.
I just don’t want to be one of them.
And I hope it shows!

I’d love to see more of this kind of material. Items like the Journal you posted can be quite expensive to purchase, and are thus basically lost to those of us living with a short purse. Thank your for sharing this part of your collection.
